Timing for swimming events
Electronic timing for swimming events
Limetime equipment is suitable for conducting open water swimming events. Time is measured from the moment of mass or rolling start until crossing the finish line.
Tags do not work underwater, so timing reads must occur on land – on shore or pontoon. Tags – reusable ankle tags, they need to be worn over the wetsuit. It's most convenient to use side antennas on tripods, for which a 4-port decoder is sufficient.

Course configuration
Start and finish on land
Mass start in one location, athletes swim along the route and exit onto land and pontoon for the finish, where the timing system is located. Tags can be placed on arm or leg.
Course configuration
Mass start and finish on water
Typically, athletes start simultaneously from shore and swim along buoys for one or several laps, each time passing through the antenna line attached to a floating structure. Tags are located on one or both arms, when swimming under the arch the athlete needs to extend their arm upward and touch the panel since the signal from antenna to tag does not pass through water.

We have tried to consider everything you might need during preparation and conducting the race. This has already been tested at 2000 events by hundreds of organizers.
