4-section kit (2.8m)
Equipment
Limetime X
Features
Configurable setup
You can assemble one long line from several short sections, or conversely, split a long one into several short ones, depending on the upcoming start line and requirements.
Maximum line length – 20 meters.
Limetime X, just like decoders, transmits data to the platform, so it will complement your equipment fleet. You can use both decoders and Limetime X at the same start line ✅

Technical specifications — RFID & timing
Technology |
Passive UHF RFID |
|---|---|
Regional versions |
Europe — ETSI 865–868 MHz · United States — FCC 902–928 MHz |
Read rate |
Up to 80 RFID reads per second per active section |
Detection modes |
Eco — 100 ms Standard — 70 ms Performance — 50 ms |
Antenna operation |
Sections operate in interleaved groups; the next antenna group activates every 50–100 ms depending on the mode. RF fields of neighboring sections overlap |
RF coverage redundancy |
The timing line keeps covering the course even if up to two adjacent sections fail — neighboring sections cover the gap |
Timekeeping |
Built-in ±2.5 ppm real-time clock in every section; sections exchange clock data over the internal bus and keep timestamping offline |
Compatible tags |
LIMETIME UHF RFID tags only |
Data & connectivity
Offline memory |
Up to 300,000 passings per section, stored until successfully uploaded |
|---|---|
Cloud upload |
Every section has its own Wi-Fi and independently uploads data to Limetime Cloud |
Local access |
Bluetooth on the head section — up to 4 simultaneous devices (Limetime mobile app or Limetime Offline App) |
Wired connection |
Direct USB connection of the head section to a laptop via a dedicated adapter |
Internet |
Optional — timing continues fully offline |
Inter-section link |
High-speed internal wired bus for antenna coordination and clock sync |
Power & runtime
Each section draws ~2.0–2.4 W depending on the detection mode. One power bank powers the whole line through the internal bus. Estimated runtime on a single 20,000 mAh (74 Wh) USB power bank:
