Wide start
The main use case for the 8-port decoder is connecting a long floor antenna when a wide start or finish line is required.
Even if your current start line has a smaller width, purchasing an 8-port decoder will be a good investment for future competitions.
Use case
Primary and backup lines
World practice is to use two floor antenna lines at major starts – primary and backup. The lines are located approximately 1.5 meters apart from each other.

If you run antenna lines facing each other, you get a total start line of 11.2 meters.
This requires 4 sets:
8-port decoder + floor antenna with 8 sections.
Screen
8-inch touchscreen
Works in rain, winter, when you're wearing gloves and when bright sun is shining. Displays information about participant reads, system status and antennas.
Connectivity
Built-in internet, Wi-Fi, GPS/GLONASS
The decoder already has its own modem and SIM card, so it can be used anywhere with 3G/LTE network coverage.
No computer is required to operate the decoder. It automatically synchronizes its data with the cloud.
You can share internet to the decoder from your smartphone via Wi-Fi.
Using the GPS/GLONASS receiver, the decoder always gets accurate satellite time.

Power supply with hot backup
The decoder can operate from ~220 volt mains power or from internal battery, automatically switching between them.
Built-in protection from overloads and voltage fluctuations allows operation from generator or unstable mains.
Air transport
Can be transported by air
Inside the decoder is an AGM battery certified for air transport in any form. It does not need to be disconnected or removed.
Software
Cloud platform for race management
No need to run cables and connect the decoder to a laptop – it works autonomously and transmits data via internet to the cloud.
The organizer manages the race online, and at the start line it's enough to have an ordinary mobile phone at hand.
